How it works

Effective Microorganism's (or EM) Ceramic Powder emits a frequency called Far Infrared Radiation. This ultra-sonic frequency (meaning beyond the range of hearing), when added to bedding, provides a relaxing field which helps calm the body and mind and enhances the quality of sleep.

The ability to sleep deeply decreases in old age, as a generalized inflammatory, excitatory state of stress develops. With progressive weakening of restorative cellular relaxation (inhibition), cells become more susceptible to disintegration. ("sarcopenia") of aging is also probably a process that occurs mostly during the night. Mediators of inflammation are at their highest during the night (Cutolo and Masi, 2005). But during the period of growth, the length of bones seems to increase mostly during the night (Noonan, et al., 2004). My interpretation of this is that the stress of darkness accelerates biological processes, whether the process is mainly constructive or mainly destructive.

Far Infrared waves are the longest rays in the light spectrum. This wavelength is highly compatible with human tissue. The body can absorb them easily at depths up to 3 inches, where they can do lots of good work.

Far Infrared waves remove blood cell clusters and this improves blood circulation. In other words, this is a way to restructure the water in the body. Because the infrared rays penetrate the tissue, they work deep into body tissue, not just on the surface of the skin.

Why are EMFs (Electro Magnetic Fields) dangerous?

The AC electrical system in our homes runs on 50 or 60 Hz, which is in the same range as our body's own resonant frequency. Because our body's resonant frequency is so close to our home's electrical system, resonance is established between our body and the house electricity, allowing energy to be transferred from the electrical wiring and appliances into our body's nervous system.

This foreign energy in the body knocks ions out of the cells in our body and interferes with the metabolism within the cells. This phenomenon accounts for deficiencies in calcium (contributing to arthritis, anxiety), lithium (depression, schizophrenia), and potassium (Alzheimers).

What are Antioxidants?

The term "antioxidants" refers to substances that prevent or slow down an oxidization process. Breathing is an example of an oxidization process. The oxygen that is absorbed into the lungs spreads through every cell in the body. This ensures that food is processed and dissolved to supply energy. Hence oxidization is a vital process in keeping human beings alive.

However, this same oxidization process has a totally negative effect if oxygen becomes overactive in the human body. In activated form (in other words overactive), oxygen causes harmful processes. Our surroundings (our living environment) contain many harmful substances such as exhaust fumes, industrial emissions, agriculture and chemical substances used in food preparation etc.

These substances are in most cases oxidized or cause oxidization, in other words oxygen compounds. Generally speaking, oxygen is stable in its various compounds, but loses its stability in the human body and becomes highly active. If there is an excess of this highly-active form, it forms compounds with and destroys everything in its path.

The smallest unit of the human body is the cell. This is surrounded by a membrane that contains unsaturated fatty acids (comparable to our salad oil). The active (aggressive) oxygen oxidizes unsaturated fatty acids, causing malfunctioning of the cell membrane with the resulting harmful effect on the human body.

The actual oxidization is the chemical process whereby a molecule gives off electrons and thus becomes unstable. If there is too much active oxygen present, the unsaturated fatty acids in the cell membrane give off electrons and combine with the oxygen. But if there are antioxidants present, the cell membrane will give off the electrons of the activated oxygen onto the unsaturated fatty acids that are in the oxidization process, thus stabilizing the situation.

If there are sufficient antioxidants at hand, no (harmful) oxidization will take place. The anti-oxidants give off electrons to the activated oxygen and to other molecules that have lost electrons and have become unstable. These create a stable balance and guarantee the body's health. As we stated earlier, our modern way of life is leading to a sharp increase in oxidants, which is why antioxidants are becoming more and more important.

The most important antioxidants in EM-X are: * ALPHA-TOCOPHEROL * FLAVONOIDE * GAMMA-ORYZANOLU * UBICHINON and LYKOPIN. EM-X also includes various supplementary bio-active components and minerals.

EM-X Water The chemical formula for water is H²O. When all is said and done, where its physical characteristics are concerned, water should be considered as (H²O) in other words as a concentration of many molecules (known as clusters). The human consists for 70% of water. This water is in the form of bundled clusters and various combined substances.

The size of the cluster determines the degree of activity of the water. If three different types of water, that is to say water in EM-X, mains water and highly purified water (used for the purification of high-grade conductors) are measured with the aid of a nuclear magnetic resonance tester (NMR), the EM-X water cluster is about half the size of that of mains water and the same size as that of highly purified water. In addition, a water analysis by means of a molecular vibration test known as a Raman-spectroscope is carried out. The measurement results confirm that the characteristics of the EM-X water correspond with that of the highly purified water. These measurements also give evidence of strong luminescence, indicating that EM-X contains many substances. Generally speaking, the more substances water clusters contain, the bigger they are. Yet the clusters in EM-X water remain small, flexible and dynamic. Based on these characteristics the human body can easily take up and absorb EM-X with all its antioxidants, bioactive substances and minerals. EM™ is the abbreviation for Effective Micro-Organisms. EM is a combination of useful regenerative micro-organisms that exist freely in nature and are not manipulated in any way. This mixture increases the natural resistance of soil, plants, water, humans, and animals. EM considerably improves the quality and fertility of soil as well as the growth and quality of crops. The possibilities for using EM are numerable and include the following:

EM consists of 5 different kinds of effective, disease-suppressing micro-organisms. Each of these effective micro-organisms has a specific task. In addition, these micro-organisms enhance each other's working. This means that synergy occurs! The micro-organisms are naturally existing and are not modified or manipulated in any way and are cultured according to a specific method. Some of which are known to produce bioactive substances such as vitamins, hormones, enzymes, antioxidants and antibiotics that can directly, or indirectly enhance plant growth and protection.

The micro-organisms in EM have been used medicinally and in food processing for many years, which gives an indication as to how safe hey are to use. EM consists of the following five families of micro-organisms:

1. Lactic acid bacteria: these bacteria are differentiated by their powerful sterilising properties. They suppress harmful micro-organisms and encourage quick breakdown of organic substances. In addition, they can suppress the reproduction of Fusarium, a harmful fungus.

2. Yeasts: these manufacture anti-microbial and useful substances for plant growth. Their metabolites are food for other bacteria such as the lactic acid and actinomycete groups.

3. Actinomycetes: these suppress harmful fungi and bacteria and can live together with photosynthetic bacteria.

4. Photosynthetic bacteria: these bacteria play the leading role in the activity of EM. They synthesise useful substances from the secretions of roots, organic matter and/or harmful gases (e.g. hydrogen sulphide) by using sunlight and the heat of soil as sources of energy. They contribute to a better use of sunlight or, in other words, better photosynthesis. The metabolites developed by these micro-organisms are directly absorbed into plants. In addition, these bacteria increase the number of other bacteria and act as nitrogen binders.

5. Fungi that bring about fermentation these break down the organic substances quickly. This suppresses smell and prevents damage that could be caused by harmful insects.
